It all depends on how you want to protect yourself. If you want to just be safe with the IRS set up as a sole - prop. but if you want huge tax savings and protection from lawsuits etc then set up as a LLC or S Corp. It is really easy to learn everything you need to do from your Government website - find the small business section. You can find all the forms you need and get everything done right there. You don't need a lawyer or anything expensive - you can do it all yourself right there on the GOV website with a little research - and that is what I would recommend.
